Go Rattlesnakes

Finally, after 5 games, G. decided to play :) As Coach Mike put it at the awards ceremony, "Gregory was the star of practice" so it killed us when he would panic when he heard the refs blow the whistle to start the game. He admitted he was afraid of the whistle, however he likes soccer so much we were hoping he would get past that little thing...and he finally did! Once G. got to play goalie, he didn't want to stop! He stopped every shot in the last two games and most importantly, finally had fun playing IN the game! Hopefully we won't go through this whole thing in the fall...I won't hold my breath.
