Winter Weekend

What a wonderful winter weekend we just had! On Friday night, Gregory helped me chaperon the Middle School Winter Social at the ice rink. This was his very first time ice skating and he did it for the full two hours! Thank goodness Caleb Ryan and "Coach" were there to help him!

On Saturday morning, we went down to Jones Hall to see the Houston Symphony...again, another first for G. It was a special children's program of "The Snowman" and at the end, Santa came out for a sing along. Gregory has a great story called "Arturo's Baton" so he was most interested in the conductor who was dressed up like a Christmas tree!

We also took time out this weekend to decorate a gingerbread house (and eat some yummy gumdrops) and visit our old foster, Miho (now Lulu) in River Oaks. She looked great and I'm glad we had the chance to see her. It does seem to be the most wonderful time of the year.

Thanksgiving in Kansas

During this past week we got to see most of those whom we love.
Day 1: Dinner in Wichita with Grandma Joan and Pa Pa

Day 2: Lunch at La Galett with Mema, Nana, Matt, Mommy & Daddy

Day 3 with Grams...it's a good thing she has a sense of humor!

Having fun with the Crandalls in Leawood.

Fall Weekends

We have had a great (and busy) November.

G and Liam

Gregory spends his time having playdates at the park with friends (Liam Young), playing ball, watching ball (another Texans game!), and building with Lego's...

Farmer McGregor

With Ms. Michelle & Sophie

This Halloween season ended up being much more fun than I could have anticipated! Last Friday, Gregory had his Halloween parade and party at school. He has such a nice class and his teachers, Ms. Rose and Ms. Michelle are very good at keeping the 3 year olds calm and collected...
Ok, my apologies, but I was trying to try and put these pictures in order, but for some reason it won't work!!!!! Anyway, I had to chaperone a Middle School social on Friday night at the Old Town Christmas Tree Farm. G had a great time hanging out with the kids, especially "greasers" Riccardo Monteverdi and Nick Russell, but overall his favorite thing was climbing the big piles of pumpkins!

Texans Tailgate

We had free tickets to the Texans game this weekend. Matt brought his good friend, Alex Novak and the G. was pumped all day! We started tailgaiting at 9 and didn't get home until 5! I wish I had as much energy as a three year old.

Columbus Day at the Zoo!

(At 10, Roy still jumps up to sit on the bench at the vet!)
Poor Roy's allergies have been terrible lately so after dropping Rhett and Roy at the vet's office, G. and I met Lindsay, Dylan, and Grayson West at the zoo for the day!

It was a great way to spend a bonus day off work!
