Happy Birthday G

What a fun birthday Gregory had! His good friends showed up to party with him this afternoon and he went to sleep one tired, happy two year old boy.

Daddy and Matt gave him a Brio train and train table!

Cameron (Happy 2nd Birthday on the 26th!) and his "little" brother, Landon, came over to play with their parents!

Bringing a big green truck go for the birthday boy was Gregory's wonderful nanny, Ania and her husband Peter and son, Kasper! Ania made the play box and decorated the garage with paper airplanes!

Of course it wouldn't be a party without our
favorite cousin, Addison!

We all ate sailboat cake

and watched Gregory open lots of great gifts!

We're sorry that Savannah and Dylan were sick, and we missed having some of our family with us, but we appreciate all the cards, calls, and those who came to celebrate Gregory on his special day.

G's House

Fun Stuff!

Since I have been frantically trying to pull things together for birthdays and school, I have not posted many pictures of G. But, mom, here are some updates and pictures so you can see what Gregory has been doing in 2009!
For starters, G. took his first pony ride in January with Cousin Addison at the local Arbor Day Celebration. (He was a little nervous and would not move his head!)
After the pony, they jumped in the bouncy house and visited
the petting zoo.
He spent lots of time playing outside in his boots with the dogs and neighbor girls...who taught him how to "jump, jump, jump!"
And, of course, he played with his "go's"! (Please take a gander of his line of "many go's"....

We started Valentine's Day off with Organic Yogurt and "red bluebabies" AKA strawberries!

And there you have it...two months in a nutshell!

Bad Mommy!

Our little foster, Miho, has gone to live in River Oaks. She's one lucky little girl...she got the sweetest new mom and two precious girls who hold her and spoil her like the little baby she is. Gregory, of course, misses her. But we are invited any time we get downtown so we can visit her and jump on their trampoline!

I've been such a bad mom because I haven't written on this thing in over six weeks. I've been swamped at work and when I have had time at home, I've been taking care of a sick Gregory and planning his second birthday party. Well, there's not much that's been planned but I have a lot of ideas in my head! Haven't even ordered the cake yet...

Here's a picture of Miho in bed with G. and Poppy and Roy a few weeks ago and another of G. playing the piano at Miho's new home. We're hoping Aunt Mary Lee will come to Houston soon to teach us some songs!
