Tiki

Each student in Gregory's class is invited to take Tiki Bear home for a weekend; this was our weekend:
Our buddy, Cameron turned 3 on Friday so Saturday we celebrated his birthday at the arboretum. It was the perfect day and place for the party. We can't wait to go back!
Gregory thinks this part of the playground is a castle and this area
is his room. The boy loves his knights and castles!
Isn't it fun to watch Mommies when their children are blowing out candles? Colby's homemade cake was awesome! By the way, Tiki is the bear that Gregory is holding in all these pictures. He's going back to school with G. tomorrow, but apparently he likes watching Gregory color. Can we officially call G. left handed? The jury is still out.
Gregory is practicing the skills he's learning at his weekly gymnastics class. If only the bar at class was this close to the ground...We ended our weekend watching the closing ceremony of the olympics with Poppy and Tiki. We are so sad that they are over.

Happy 3rd Birthday G!

Happy 3rd birthday, Gregory!
You are so much fun. I'm glad to have this blog so I can look back at this past year and see how much you've grown.
We all enjoyed your birthday party at Gymborree yesterday. We are so blessed to have the family and friends that we do...and there were a lot of thoughtful people who came out yesterday to help you celebrate turning three!
Here's Addison, G., Savannah, Jaxson and a little bit of Chesney pretending to be on a train.
The whole gang (almost!): Cameron, Chesney (back), Emmie and her brother, Jack, Alexa, G., Baby Boston, Cousin Addison, Jaxson, Landon, and Isaac's back...Savannah had already gone and baby Jacqueline missed out on the fun due to a feeding.
The Itsy Bitsy Spider ~ G's favorite!

"I'm a workin on the railroad"

Jack, Cameron, Chesney, Gregory, Landon, Emmie, and Savannah all like the airplane cookie cake and ice cream.

Priceless!

Arbor Day

I can't remember a colder, gloomier winter but Arbor Day in our area was held in late January, right on schedule. We actually had a lot of fun that morning, gathering free seedlings and enjoying all the action, especially at the race track.
Check out the petting zoo animals, including the cute little pig!
