Sick Days

Amazingly, I got the first call of the year yesterday to pick up Gregory from school because he had a 103.4 fever! He's been fever free today, but still has a nasty cough so we've been taking it easy around the house, as you can see! (I swear this picture is not posed!)
G. could probably use one more day of TLC, but I have only worked one day in the past 13 days! Last week shouldn't count, since I was chaperoning a trip in D.C. ...my first time away from the G-man. He had fun with daddy and I had fun with my 17 kids of the week!

Patterns

As I was picking up the house tonight, I started realizing the "artwork" created out of G's favorite play things in the kitchen, in the living room, and next to the tubby. If only I could find out what really goes on in that mind of his!

Happy Easter

What a fun, busy weekend we had! On Friday, we went with out good friends Jennifer and Chesney to the Oil Ranch where we got to ride on a train and feed baby animals, then yesterday we went to our church's annual Easter egg hunt. Thousands of kids and thousands of eggs...

We got to see G's buddy from school, Jack and most interestingly, we made a new friend....a ladybug!

Our Easter was spent at The Russell's home where we had a fun easter egg hunt with Chesney and Madeline. Jennifer and Chesney gave G. a new car with trailer and also heated the pool so we could go swimming! Gregory also got a very special Easter lamb from cousins Sally, Addison, and Tim whom we got to see yesterday. He loves his new baby and its big cuddly ears!
